Our Children's ministry is extremely important to us at Shelbyville First Baptist. We have a trained, professional team who serves in this important area in an effort to provide consistent care and training week after week. We have discovered that children do better when they see smiling, familiar faces.

Children's Worship
Children's worship for 4-year-olds thru 3rd graders is held in the Kid's Zone which is located in our fellowship hall in the basement of the education building. The children start out in the adult worship service and are escorted by their leaders to Kid's Zone after the start of the service.
Important Security Notice
In order to provide a safe and secure environment for children, First Baptist requires parents and guardians to fill out security tags when bringing children birth thru kindergarten to classes. Parents receive a sticker and must present the sticker to pick up each child from class. For each child's safety, we ask that only adults pick up children from classes. Of course, all volunteers who work with children are required to submit a background check form.
