Shelbyville First Baptist Church is a congregation dedicated to reaching Shelbyville and the world with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Our mission is simple and Biblical: love God, love people, and make disciples.
Worship Services
You have your own style, and at Shelbyville First Baptist, you'll find a church service that's just right for you. Our contemporary service starts at 8:30 a.m. and features casual dress (even the pastor doesn't wear a tie), contemporary music and an informal style. Our traditional service offers a more classical worship experience and begins at 11:00 a.m. Whatever your style, you'll find a spiritual connection that will enrich your week and your life.
Childcare
Childcare is extremely important to us at Shelbyville First Baptist. We have a trained, professional childcare team who serves in this important area in an effort to provide consistent care week after week. We have discovered that children do better when they see smiling, familiar faces.
Bible Fellowship Classes
We have Bible Fellowship classes that meet on Sundays at 9:45 AM. These classes are available for all ages and provide a great opportunity to study the Bible and get to know people on a personal basis. We have classes for all ages-from the youngest child to the oldest adult. At the adult level, we have several different styles of classes so you can find a class just right for you.
