The music ministry of Shelbyville First Baptist offers many ways to fulfill the mission of the church -- to love God, love people, and make disciples. As we gather each week to worship as a collective group of Christians, we praise God with song for what He has done and for what He is doing in our life and the lives of others; we pray and listen to God; we learn God's vision for our lives; and we learn how to follow His direction as we study His Word.
We believe that God gives us our talents and interests so that we may use them for his glory. If you have musical talent then we invite to join our music ministry and use your talent for God's glory. We have Adult Choir, Orchestra, Praise Teams, Handbell Choir, and special programs throughout the year. For more information on how you can join one of our music groups, please contact Worship Pastor Gene Wright, our music/worship pastor. For your convenience, childcare is provided during Adult Choir rehearsals.
